State of California seeks businesses before fire season

The State of California’s Department of General Services (DGS) seeks businesses before fire season strikes. Small Business (SB), Microbusiness (MB), SmallBusiness -Public Works (SB-PW), and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) DGS certified businesses with active certifications who can deliver on-demand emergency goods and services are invited. The SB/DVBE Emergency Registry was developed by DGS to simplify the identification of certified Small Businesses (SB) and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises (DVBE) during an emergency. Only certified SB/DVBE businesses who are currently ready and able to support the state of California in an emergency should register. Reach out to the Monterey Bay PTAC to learn how to register with DGS and how to certify your business in their system to become eligible for this program.
